When a piece of machinery or site gets certified by Dore Safety Services, it is assigned a QR code. This QR code can be scanned at any time on a device, and the relevant certificates can be accessed.
Using QR codes for this process has many benefits, including:
- Being a safe, secure way to store and access certificates.
- Removing the need for immediate paper copies to be available.
- Directing the person immediately to the relevant page from their own device.
- Allows statutory inspectors, employees, and contractors access to a full list of certified sites lifting equipment.
- Allows operators immediate access to Safe Working Load information of the item of plant they may be operating.
- Manuals and operating instructions can be attached to the QR code for operator convenience.
