A top executive at the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) will play a lead role in an autumn webinar series that looks to explore inclusive approaches to occupational safety and health (OSH).
Greg Ward, Head of Commercial Development at IOSH, is one of three speakers for the opening webinar in the four-part series, Building on Traditional OSH Perspectives (Wednesday 13 September 2023, 14:00-15:30 BST), which focuses on the business and social benefits of prioritising inclusion when developing occupational health and safety policies and programmers.
The webinar series is being presented by the UK Network of the United Nations Global Compact, the global platform for business and non-business entities to network and collaborate on areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. IOSH joined the UN Global Compact, as well as its UK Network, in 2021, recognizing the pressing need to strengthen business sustainability, particularly in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and other environmental, social and business challenges, not just in the UK but around the world.

Presenting on ‘IOSH Models of Safety’ with an emphasis on equality, diversity and inclusion, Greg will be joined on the speaker platform by John Dony, Vice-President, Workplace Strategy at the National Safety Council and Chris Sibley, Head of Safety Operations at facilities management company EMCOR.

Greg, who chairs the IOSH Business Leader Forum, says: “Companies and their workforces thrive when diversity, equity and inclusion are considered in their OSH agendas.
